| In 1795 he bought land in Lincoln County at Lucia, North Carolina. His home was built between River Bend and Stanley. He died on January 8, 1822, the day his will is dated. It has been stated that "He died sitting in a chair, of asthma." He was buried on his plantation but no one has been able to locate the grave.@S7@ |
